our Meatout event in conjunction with another event
that we put on annually and gets great attendance.
Every year we host a Pet Photo Contest, where faculty,
students, and staff bring in pictures of their
pets and people donate money to the pictures they like
most, and the picture with the most money wins.
All the proceeds go to our organization. So this year,
we are going to do that at one table, and then at
the table right next to it we are going to have a
variety of great vegan foods that people can sample
at their own leisure. We'd like to have some vegan literature
at and around the table as well.
As
a result of scheduling issues with other groups,
the only day we could host our event is on Wednesday,
March 17th. It will be an all day event (usually
from 10am - 6pm) at the George Washington University
Law School, located at 20th and H Street, NW,
Washington, D.C.
